First time on stage at the age of 3, but got his first electric guitar at 8, Krissy came into the blues four years ago at the age of 11. Now 15 years old Krissy has performed various venues and festivals and managed to perform live on stage with John Mayall, Jeff Healey, Bernie Marsden, Walter Trout and Larry Burton, and toured with Robben Ford, as well as numerous other up and coming stars of the future. The band has also got 2 CD’s released to their name. Krissy regularly tours in Scandinavia with his three piece rock blues band, which includes father Keith Matthews on Bass and Chris Sharley on Drums and just made their first appearance in Europe last October. The live set is very heavily influenced on the late 60's such as Jimi Hendrix and the Yardbirds, with high levels of energy put in by Krissy which feeds of the audience. About ¾ of the set is original material.

The promotions team at The Running Horse have joined forces to create a new promo company, the whole point of refurbishing the Runner was to create a venue in Nottingham from which we could offer high quality entertainment by genre and also become a launch pad for the talent Nottingham has to offer. As you will see from our events page we have made serious headway along that path. What we would now like to do is put the right music into the right venues and ensure that our artists are managed and promoted professionally and with the respect their talent deserves. If you are an artist who would like to discuss management and promotion with us please feel free to call in and if you know of venues that you think may benefit from the service please contact us via the web page. The service we offer includes promotion and marketing including flier and poster printing and circulation, gig guide listings, web creation and management, my space and facebook page creation and management. Newspaper and magazine promotions, bookings facility. Photography portfolios, Radio and Television promotion, management advise and financial management, sound and light engineer service, recording service, practice space, transport service, secretarial service telephone fax and email management, door staff and much more. email runninghorsemusic@hotmail.co.uk
