RED BATTLE OF THE BANDS DATES OUT NOW posted:04/08/2008 http://www.redfestival.co.uk Having just finished talking to the management team at The Red Battle of the bands competition I can confirm the dates will be as follows 5th 6th and 16th of oct semi final 13th nov final 8th december. We have tried to keep these dates to nights that do not affect your ability to take paying gigs, hope you are all ok with these please put them in your diary now and watch my space at The runner for updates. Ok here is some more info: For each city there are 2 rounds and a final. The winners of each night will be decided on hand votes and text votes. I will send more info regarding this when I have it. They know how to be accessible to the alternative crowd without the burden of conforming to a scene. Formed in 2006 in Nottingham, Kazooee have been building momentum playing throughout the city and beyond. Their e.p.
